Neuromuscular dentistry evaluates and treats conditions affecting how your muscles, teeth and joints all work together.  Neuromuscular dentistry corrects your bite so that the muscles that control your jaw movement are in the best position for comfort and function. 

 

Dr. Krasowski understands that your hard and soft tissues have a complex relationship and wants to help make that relationship a harmonious one. Dr. Krasowski understands the need for your muscles and nerves to work together to create optimal movement and function of the mouth.

If your jaw is misaligned, both your hard and soft tissues are affected and many physiological problems can result.  These results include:

• Clicking sounds in the jaw joint

 

In many cases, these types of symptoms can be the result of TMD (temporomandibular joint disorder). TMD is a broad term for a collection of jaw conditions characterized by pain in the face, jaw and teeth, jaw and limitations in jaw movement.
